Coming Back to the Studio In-Person

In-person classes have returned to INlighten Community at The Yogi Tree studio in Toluca Lake. We are phasing in our new schedule and we look forward to increasing our in-person offerings

PRE-REGISTRATION: Required, no exceptions. Only eight in-person spots are available per class. NO WALK-INS.

REGISTRATION CUT OFF: Registration for in-person classes ends one hour prior to class start time. (Registration for livestream classes is available until the start of class.)

AIR FILTRATION: We’ve added two HEPA filters with UV light,  shown in studies to be effective in reducing the concentration of SARS-CoV-2 particles indoors.

PROPS: Please bring your own mat & props. We will have a few unused yoga mats to purchase at cost.

MASKS: Masking is optional, per current Los Angeles County Covid-19 guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change without notice.

EXTRA TIME: Please give yourself extra time to arrive for class. We are spacing classes 30 minutes apart to give everyone room to move comfortably through the stairwell and studio.

We continue to follow the current Los Angeles County Covid-19 protocol.

WAIT! I LIKE MY ZOOM CLASSES! (We know! We do, too!)

Don’t worry if you aren’t ready to come back yet or you found us during the pandemic from a place far from Los Angeles!

We continue to offer virtual attendance. Most of our classes will become hybrid, meaning you can reserve one of our 8 in-person spots OR you can register for the same class as a live online experience. Some classes will be livestream only OR in-person only. These designations will be noted on the schedule when you sign up.

Eight is the magic number for in-person class size. Pre-registration required. No exceptions.

MINDFUL COMPASSION FOR YOURSELF & OTHERS

Some of us have been moving about frequently for the past two years. Others are only now venturing out from prolonged isolation. No matter how loving an environment, anxiety, and stress can cause short fuses and impaired empathy. Please exercise extra patience and compassion with those around you. Speaking a bit softer, moving a bit slower, and listening a bit better will honor your own needs and the needs of others as we all navigate new conditions.

UPGRADES IN HOW WE SERVE YOU

As we reconnect following the collective trauma of the past two years, our teachers and staff are adopting a comprehensive approach to wellness. In addition to ensuring adequate physical distance, our limited in-person class sizes will offer more personalized attention that allows us to spend more quality time assessing and supporting the needs of our students. Each of our 8 in-person spaces is now $25 per class, to reflect this shift. We continue to offer livestream classes at $12 each for those who need a lower-priced option, are joining us out of the area, or are not yet ready to gather in person. Thanks to our new booking system, Momence, students will only need to purchase ONE credit package for use with a class, workshop, or course for both in-person or livestream. Each credit is worth $11, which will mean savings per class when using credits rather than dollars. For example, the cash price for a Livestream class is $12 but only costs one credit ($11) and the cash price for an in-person class is $25 but only costs two credits ($22). Students can purchase credit packs (similar to the old class passes) and we will continue to offer discounted access for new students and other special circumstances.
